1/28 one for four...and more!

today marks the day of my first college acceptance :-)
...to UNC Chapel Hill!
(I am so excited you guys)
I am so excited because I'm one step closer to going to college. I still have three more schools to hear officially back from (as I got deferred from one sob), but I am just so excited I had to share. Now to celebrate with more homework, essays, and maybe, if I decide to splurge a bit, even an episode of The Office
(I'm already addicted to it--especially Jim and Pam--as you can see from this screenshot text omg I'm such a dork)

alright homework time... Thanks for reading! It really truly does mean a lot :-)

1/20 i love to see the temple

Awhile back, I visited the temple! It was the 22nd of November (the day after my birthday!), and I never got the chance to document it... so here it is! :-)
(Columbia, South Carolina temple!!)
(me and my sweet friend, Noelle)

So at the temple, I performed baptisms for the dead, and I can remember it was a birthday for one of the women I was baptizing! and how cool is that?! like seriously...being able to be baptized on your birthday! It's the same luxury I along with other LDS kids are able to do, and that's super cool. I also remember one of my baptisms being done for someone who has been possibly waiting for it since the 1700s. Three hundred years is a long long long time to be waiting to be baptized (like honestly so long I can't even fathom it!), and how cool is it that I got to do it.
I love the temple, and I love the Spirit I feel so strongly there. At the temple, the Spirit testifies to me the truthfulness of this gospel, and the truthfulness and love of our Heavenly Father. The love He has for us is so so so so insanely powerful. He gives all of His children the chance to be baptized in the afterlife, and what else can give us a stronger testimony of His love? ...not a lot of stuff!

so basically I just love to see the temple! :-)

1/1 twenty-fifteen say WHAT

so I'm ringing off the new year with this great gem of happiness:
(I have flown through seven seasons of Grey's Anatomy in the course of three(??) weeks, and the lack of sleep and nocturnal habit has never felt better. I love it so much. this show makes me very happy and excited and nervous and just very very fuzzy and nice.)
just a quick recap of my 2015 (for a deeper recap, read my birthday post)... 2014 was pretty good. on a scale of one to ten, the first half was probably a seven. and then for the two months of summer and Governor's School, about a solid ten point one. and then the last four months have been a four, maybe five. everything's just been insane, and i am so ready for graduation. so ready for the summer. and maybe even so ready for college. basically just very ready for 2015. so. let's begin :-)
